Hong Ma graduated from Lanzhou University’s Archaeology and Silk Road Studies program and is a Certified Senior Tour Guide with over 18 years of rigorous expedition experience across Northwest China’s vast landscapes. He specializes in an 8-day Hexi Corridor historical site expedition (Wuwei Leitai Han tomb, Zhangye Great Buddha Temple, Jiayuguan Fort, Mogao Caves of Dunhuang), a 5-day ancient Buddhist grottoes pilgrimage (Maijishan Grottoes, Bingling Temple Grottoes, Yulin Grottoes), and a 4-day culturally significant lodging itinerary (staying in a renovated Ming dynasty courier station, a Tibetan homestay near Qinghai Lake, and a Mogao Caves scholar’s residence).
