This cave exceeded all my expectations! I booked last minute and didn't read much about it, but wow — the sheer size of the main cavern left me speechless. There's a boat ride option across an underground lake that I think is a must-do. Our guide was knowledgeable and told us legends about the cave's name. Clean restrooms, a small gift shop, and even a spot to grab cold drinks. Perfect for a day trip with friends or family.

Hands down one of the best cave experiences I've had. Unlike some touristy caves with loud music and neon lights, Xiangxi keeps it natural and serene. The moss-covered rocks and the echo of dripping water create such a calming atmosphere. I went early in the morning and almost had the place to myself. The walk isn't too strenuous, and the views from the upper lookout point inside are breathtaking. 10/10 would go again.

Absolutely stunning! Xiangxi Cave is a hidden gem. The moment you step inside, the cool air hits you and the lighting makes the rock formations look like something out of a fantasy movie. We took the full walking loop and every turn revealed a new wonder — dripping water, deep pools, and even a small waterfall. The staff gave us a quick safety talk and let us take our time. Highly recommend for nature lovers and photographers!

We spent a pleasant afternoon here. The cave is beautiful, especially the chamber with the natural skylight where the sunbeams hit the water. Parking was easy and the staff at the entrance were friendly enough. My only complaint is that the audio guide wasn't working when we visited, and the printed brochure is just a single folded sheet. Still, for the price we paid, it was a decent outing. Kids enjoyed the echo effect inside!

The cave itself is impressive, with massive stalactites and a cool underground river. But honestly, the path was slippery and poorly lit in some sections. I nearly twisted my ankle. Also, the entry fee felt a bit steep for what you get — no guided tour included, and the signage explaining the formations is minimal. Worth a visit if you're in the area, but don't expect a polished experience.

What a gem! We stumbled upon Xiangxi Cave during a road trip and it turned out to be the best decision. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the tour – about 90 yuan for a 1.5 hour guided walk. The cave was well-maintained, clean, and the staff were friendly. A special shout-out to the lady at the ticket counter who helped us with directions. The natural acoustics in the big hall were amazing too. Highly recommended!

Hands down the most immersive cave experience I've had in China. From the moment we entered, the cool mist and echoing drips set the mood. The boat ride inside the cave was a pleasant surprise – floating through the narrow waterway surrounded by ancient rock formations felt like something out of a fantasy novel. Every twist revealed a new wonder. I would go back in a heartbeat. 5 stars without hesitation!

Absolutely incredible! Xiangxi Cave is one of the best natural wonders I've ever seen. The sheer scale of the underground chambers left me speechless. Our guide, Mr. Li, was super knowledgeable and pointed out hidden formations that looked like animals and mythical creatures. The lighting design added a magical touch without being tacky. Easily a highlight of our trip to Hunan – do not miss this if you're in the region!

Pretty cool spot overall, but nothing mind-blowing. The stalactites and stalagmites were impressive, especially in the main chamber with the colored lights. However, the audio guide was hard to hear over the crowd, and the stairs near the exit were really steep. I'd say it's a decent 4-star experience – fun for an afternoon but probably not worth a long detour. Bring good shoes!

Honestly, the caves were beautiful but the whole experience felt a bit rushed. Our guide barely paused to let us take photos, and some of the pathways were slippery with no handrails. The lighting inside was nice, but a few areas were too dark to see the formations clearly. For the entrance fee, I expected a bit more attention to safety and a longer tour. It's worth a visit if you're in the area, but don't expect a leisurely exploration.

Decent value for money if you buy tickets online in advance—saves about 15%. The cave is impressive but I've seen similar ones for less. The audio guide is helpful but the narration could be more detailed. One hour is enough to cover the main route. Not mind-blowing, but a pleasant afternoon.

A true geological wonder! I loved how the management limits the number of visitors to preserve the ecosystem. The dripstone columns and underground pools are pristine. Bring a good camera—the photo ops are incredible. Only downside: no water refill stations inside. Absolutely worth the trip.

Honestly, a bit overhyped. The entrance fee is steep for what you get—$28 USD per person felt like a lot. The cave itself is big but the walkways are slippery in spots, and some of the colored lights felt tacky. The staff were polite but rushed. I'd skip it if you're on a tight budget.

Really impressive natural beauty inside, but it got a bit crowded around midday. The path is well-maintained, though I wish the signage were clearer. Still, the stalactites and underground streams are breathtaking. I'd recommend going early or late to avoid the rush. A solid 4-star experience.

Absolutely stunning! We spent about two hours exploring the main cavern and the rock formations are otherworldly. The lighting is tasteful—not too garish—and our guide, Mr. Chen, shared fascinating local legends. The air is cool and humid, which was a relief from the summer heat. A must-see for anyone visiting the area.

Mixed feelings. The cave is pretty but the guided tour felt rushed - we only had 30 minutes inside. The English audio guide was poorly translated and hard to understand. For the cost, I expected a longer visit. Also, the restroom near the entrance was quite dirty. Not terrible, but not worth a special trip. Three stars.

What a hidden gem! I came here on a whim and was blown away. The cave is massive and the acoustic effects during the light show are incredible. The air inside is cool and fresh, a perfect escape from the summer heat. I also loved the little souvenir shop near the exit - bought a handmade rock pendant. Highly recommend for nature lovers!

Honestly a bit disappointed for the price. The ticket is 80 yuan which feels steep for a cave you can walk through in 40 minutes. The formations are okay but nothing extraordinary compared to other caves I've visited in China. The staff at the entrance were friendly though. If you have time and money to burn, go ahead, but I'd skip it.

Beautiful cave overall, but the entrance path is quite steep and slippery, especially after rain. They should put more handrails. The scenery inside is breathtaking though, with underground streams and huge chambers. I'd recommend going early to avoid crowds. Not a five-star because of the accessibility issues, but still a great experience.

Absolutely stunning! The stalactites and stalagmites are like nothing I've ever seen. The lighting inside the cave is perfectly set to highlight the natural formations without being too flashy. Our guide was knowledgeable and pointed out hidden shapes in the rocks. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the region. We spent almost two hours inside and every minute was magical.
