Hands down the most well-preserved forest park I've been to in this region. The biodiversity is incredible – spotted several rare birds and even a deer! The staff at the entrance were friendly and gave us a free mini guide. The canopy walkway is a must-do. Every detail shows they care about conservation. 5 stars, no hesitation.
Brought my family here for a picnic and we all loved it. The kids enjoyed the butterfly garden and the little stream where they could splash around. Plenty of benches and trash bins along the main path. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that the café ran out of snacks by 2 PM. Otherwise a perfect day out.
Great spot for trail running! The elevation gain is steady and the air is crisp. I did the full perimeter loop in about 2.5 hours and saw only a handful of people on the back section. Parking was easy on a Tuesday morning. My only minor complaint: the restrooms near the south entrance were locked. Still, 4 stars for the scenery and solitude.
Nice place for a weekend escape, but not mind-blowing. The entrance fee was reasonable, and the main path is well-maintained. However, some of the side trails were poorly marked and we got lost for nearly an hour. The waterfall was pretty but crowded. Decent if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way.
Absolutely stunning! The sunrise from the eastern ridge was breathtaking, and the trail through the bamboo grove felt like stepping into another world. We took the moderate loop and found plenty of shaded spots to rest. Only wish the visitor center had more detailed maps, but overall one of the best forest parks I've visited in years.
