Rui Han serves as the primary technical gatekeeper for our Southwest China bureau. In a region where travel infrastructure is rapidly digitizing—often through exclusive WeChat mini-programs or localized government apps—Rui’s role is to bridge the gap for the international reader. He conducts weekly "User Journey" audits for every major attraction in the region, including the Jiuzhaigou National Park and the Potala Palace. This involves testing the responsiveness of English-language interfaces, verifying if international credit cards are currently accepted on official booking portals, and ensuring that every QR-code entry link provided in our blog redirects to a secure, authorized government source.
