Yanguan Ancient Town Overview
An ancient settlement best known as the premier viewing spot for the spectacular Qiantang River Tidal Bore. It also features well-preserved Qing Dynasty mansions, seawalls, and deep historical ties to renowned martial arts novelist Jin Yong.

How to Get to Yanguan Ancient Town
Take a high-speed train to Haining West Station, then take a taxi (approx. 40 mins) to Yanguan, or use the Hangzhou-Haining Intercity Railway.
Yanguan Ancient Town Travel Safety & Advice
Dial 110 or 120. Never cross the safety barriers on the seawall. The tidal bore is extremely powerful and ignoring sirens can be deadly.
