Jing'an Park Travel FAQ

Is it better to stay north or south of Jing'an Park for a first-time visitor who wants to see all the major sights?
If seeing the classic sights (The Bund, Nanjing Road, Pudong) is the absolute priority, stay north. The direct metro access from Jing'an Temple station is marginally faster. But the difference is maybe 5-10 minutes in travel time. Don't let this lock you out of a great hotel south of the park. The south side offers a more pleasant return "home" after a day of crowds.
