Absolutely incredible! I’m usually not a fan of man-made attractions, but Tang Paradise is on another level. The attention to detail in the buildings and gardens is insane. I took a calligraphy workshop in one of the side halls—the teacher was patient and the whole experience felt authentic. Even the restrooms were spotless. Perfect for couples, families, or anyone who loves Chinese culture. 5/5 without hesitation.
Tang Paradise totally exceeded my expectations. As a solo traveler, I loved just wandering through the different gardens and pavilions—each one feels like a hidden gem. The lotus pond area is incredibly peaceful, and the architecture is jaw-dropping. I came back at night for the water fountain laser show and it was pure magic. Easily one of the best attractions I’ve been to in China.
We spent an entire day here and loved every moment! The replica Tang Dynasty buildings are stunning, and the staff dressed in period costumes add so much charm. The boat ride across the lake at sunset was magical. We also caught a live performance of Tang Dynasty music and dance—absolutely world-class. If you’re visiting Xi’an, do NOT miss this place. Worth every penny!
A solid 4 stars. The Tang Dynasty theme is beautiful and the nighttime light show on the lake is absolutely mesmerizing—definitely the highlight. The grounds are well-maintained and perfect for a leisurely stroll. Only reason I’m not giving 5 is that the food inside is overpriced and not very tasty, and some of the guided tours felt rushed. Still, a lovely afternoon outing if you’re in the area.
Honestly, I had high hopes for Tang Paradise after seeing all the photos online, but the reality was a bit underwhelming. The park is huge and the architecture is nice, but a lot of the areas felt empty and almost abandoned. The ticket price feels steep for what you get—many of the shows weren't running when we visited, and the staff seemed disinterested. It’s not terrible, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.
Honestly, I was a bit let down. The park is pretty, but it felt overly commercialized with all the souvenir stands and food stalls. The light show started late and the sound system was glitchy. Plus, half the interactive exhibits were closed for maintenance. For the price, I expected a more polished experience. Maybe I just picked a bad day.
Very impressive park with a lot of history and beautiful scenery. The water screen movie was cool, but the crowds were insane even on a weekday. Also, the ticket price feels a bit steep for what you get—especially if you're not interested in the shows. Still worth a visit if you're in Xi'an, but go early to beat the queues.
If you're into photography, this place is paradise. Every pavilion, bridge, and garden is meticulously designed. I spent hours just walking around and snapping shots of the lotus flowers and traditional architecture. The staff were friendly and the paths are stroller-friendly, which was a nice surprise for our family trip.
The 'Dream Back to Tang Dynasty' performance is an absolute must-see. The costumes, choreography, and stage effects blew my mind. Even if you're not usually into cultural shows, give it a chance—it's world-class. The park itself is huge, so wear comfy shoes. Only wish I had more time to explore every corner.
Absolutely stunning at night! The light show over the lake is magical—definitely the highlight of my trip to Xi'an. The whole park feels like a real-life Tang dynasty painting when everything lights up. Bring a good camera and plan to stay until closing. One of the best $20 I've ever spent on a ticket.
Lovely spot to spend a couple of hours soaking up Tang-era vibes. The architecture is photogenic and the gardens are well-maintained. I wish there were more interactive exhibits or live demonstrations – it felt a bit like walking through a movie set rather than a living cultural site. Still, a solid 4 stars for the visual experience.
Our kids (ages 7 and 10) had an absolute blast! There's a small petting zoo area, puppet shows, and they were mesmerized by the giant dragon lanterns. We rented a little boat on the lake which was super fun for the whole family. The place is huge so wear good walking shoes. Definitely a 5-star day out for families!
Honestly a bit of a letdown. The gardens are beautiful in photos but in person they felt overly commercialized – gift shops and food stalls every 20 feet. The main performance was canceled without any notice, and the staff at the ticket booth weren't very helpful. For the price, I expected a more polished experience. Maybe skip this one if you're on a tight schedule.
Really impressive reconstruction of Tang dynasty gardens. I loved the museum section and the detailed explanations about the historical significance. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because a few of the pavilions were closed for renovation when I visited, and the crowds were pretty heavy on a Saturday. Still, a must-see if you're into Chinese history.
Absolutely stunning! We went in the evening and the whole place was lit up like a dream. The lake reflections with the Tang-style architecture are pure magic. The water show with the fireworks was the highlight – felt like stepping back in time. Totally worth the entrance fee, I'd go again in a heartbeat.
My kids (ages 6 and 9) were mesmerized by the colorful lights and the dancing fountain show. The park is huge though, and we ended up carrying the little one for half the walk – definitely rent a buggy if you have toddlers. Some food stalls were closed early, which was annoying. Still, a happy family memory.
I'm a total Tang dynasty nerd, so this place was heaven. The replica buildings are incredibly detailed, and the little museum exhibits gave great context. The water movie at night was a perfect blend of history and tech. Couldn't recommend it more for culture lovers!
Honestly, a bit of a letdown for the price. The entrance fee is steep, and then everything inside – water, snacks, even a basic postcard – is overpriced. The performances felt rushed and the crowd was overwhelming. I'd rather spend the money on a nice dinner elsewhere.
Great for photography, especially the Tang-style architecture at golden hour. But man, it gets packed – I had to wait ages for a clean shot of the pavilion. The light show was decent, though I've seen better. Overall a solid 4 stars, just go on a weekday if you can.
Absolutely magical! I arrived just before sunset and watched the entire park light up – the reflections on the lake were stunning. The main show at the water stage gave me chills. Easily the best evening I've spent in Xi'an. Don't skip this if you're visiting!
