Absolutely loved the blend of history and modern vibrancy. Climbed to the top of the pagoda (stairs are steep but the view is worth it) and then joined the crowds in the square watching the fountain show. Clean facilities, plenty of food options, and the staff at the ticket booth were helpful. One of the highlights of my China trip—highly recommend.

This place is a photographer's dream! I spent hours just wandering around the pagoda at sunset and then into the night when everything glows. The light shows are well synchronized with the music, and the whole area feels festive. Only gave 4 stars because some of the 'ancient' reenactments felt a bit cheesy, but the vibe is undeniably cool.

Maybe I came with too high expectations. The pagoda is impressive from afar, but up close it's just a brick tower with long queues. The 'Ever-Bright City' part is basically a pedestrian street with chain stores and neon lights—nothing particularly Tang Dynasty about it. Overpriced drinks and crowds made it a bit of a letdown. Wouldn't rush back.

Honestly felt like stepping into a history book—in a good way. The pagoda itself is majestic, but the surrounding Ever-Bright City area felt a bit too commercial for my taste. Lots of souvenir stalls and loud music. Enjoyed the cultural performances though, and the food stalls had decent local snacks. A solid afternoon visit, but not magical.

Went on a weeknight and it was still buzzing. The pagoda lit up against the dark sky is postcard-perfect, and the Tang Dynasty themed street shows are a blast. Got some awesome night shots near the fountain. Only complaint? Could use a few more benches for tired legs. Still, totally worth the trip if you're in Xi'an.
