Beijing International Flower Port

What a hidden gem! I wasn't expecting such a well-maintained oasis just outside Beijing. The lavender field and the sunflower maze were my favorites. There's also a small greenhouse with exotic cacti that surprised me. The staff helped me with directions in English, which was a nice touch. Cheap entry for students too. 5 stars — I'm already planning my next visit.

Honestly, I was a bit let down. For the ticket price (120 RMB), I expected more wow factor. The flower arrangements were nice but not exceptional — many blooms were past their peak. The place is huge, but there isn't much shade, so it gets hot. Also, the souvenir shop was overpriced. Maybe my expectations were too high because of the name 'International'? Wouldn't rush back.

Good overall but felt a bit overcrowded when I visited on a holiday. The main greenhouse is stunning, but some of the outdoor areas looked a little neglected — a few dry patches and wilted plants. Still, the tulip display was impressive. Parking was a hassle. I'd give it a solid 4 if they improve maintenance and crowd control.

Went on a sunny Saturday with my family and we all had a blast. The kids loved the butterfly garden and the little train ride. Staff were friendly and the pathways were very clean. Only downside: a few food stalls had long lines, but the food itself was decent. Definitely worth the trip from downtown Beijing. Will come back during the chrysanthemum festival.

Absolutely gorgeous! The sheer variety of flowers is mind-blowing — I saw roses, tulips, hydrangeas, and even some rare tropical ones. The layout is well-designed with themed zones, perfect for photos. Spent nearly 4 hours here and didn't get bored. The scent in the air is intoxicating. Easily one of the best flower parks I've visited worldwide. Highly recommend coming in spring or early summer!

As a gardening enthusiast, I was in heaven! The variety of species is staggering — from rare Japanese camellias to local wildflowers planted in clever layers. The 'Flower Cathedral' glasshouse is a masterpiece of design, and I learned so much from the small information boards. The staff even gave me tips on growing peonies at home. A hidden gem that deserves way more visitors. Perfect day trip!

Brought my parents here and it was a mixed bag. The flower arrangements are impressive and photogenic, especially the seasonal displays. But the place is massive with very few shaded rest areas — we were exhausted under the sun. Also, the little train ride cost extra and was a rip-off for a 5-minute loop. If you plan to walk a lot, bring water and a hat. Not bad, but not great either.
