Guanshan Grassland

This place healed me. I came to clear my head after a stressful month, and something about the endless green and the singing wind made everything smaller. I sat on a fence post for an hour just looking at the valley. No noise from the city, only birds and grass rustling. Highly recommend for soul recovery.

Took the kids here during the weekend and it was beyond expectations. The grassland is huge with soft rolling hills, and the kids loved chasing butterflies and finding wildflowers. There are cleanish restrooms at the visitor center and enough picnic tables. One tip: the last 2km access road is rough and narrow, so drive slow. We'll definitely come back.
