Chenggang Hu leads archaeological and historical storytelling for Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, and Xinjiang. He holds a PhD in Central Asian Archaeology from Lanzhou University and served as a field director for excavations at the Dunhuang beacon towers. In his current role, he evaluates destination guides, city profiles, and hidden-gem stories from Northwest China, determining which submissions qualify for homepage features or provincial Top Lists with a focus on archaeological accuracy and historical integrity.
